What Videos You Can Download from Yandex

Yandex itself hosts almost no videos: the Yandex Video search collects videos from other sites — VK, Rutube, YouTube, OK.ru, Mail.ru — and plays them in its own player. So "downloading from Yandex" really means downloading the video from the site where it is hosted. How to Download Yandex Videos on iPhone

1. Find the video in the Yandex app or on ya.ru in Safari and open it
2. Tap "Share" → "Copy link", or copy the address from the browser's address bar
3. Open q-saver.com in Safari and paste the link into the field
4. Tap "Find" and choose a quality
5. Tap "Download" — the file will appear in "Files" → "Downloads", and from there you can save it to "Photos"

How to Download Yandex Videos on Android

Open the video in the Yandex app or in your browser and copy the link via "Share". Open q-saver.com in Chrome or Yandex Browser, paste the link, tap "Find" and choose a quality. The MP4 file will be saved to the "Download" folder.

How to Download Yandex Videos on a Computer

Open the video in Yandex Video — the address in the browser bar will change to yandex.ru/video/preview/…. Copy it, paste it on q-saver.com and click "Download". The file will be saved to your Downloads folder.

How to Download Videos from Yandex Disk

You can download a video if its owner has shared it via a link. Open the file on Yandex Disk and click "Share" → "Copy link" — you'll get an address like disk.yandex.ru/i/…. Paste it on QSaver: the service will show qualities from 240p to 1080p. Private files and folders without a public link can't be downloaded.

Why QSaver Doesn't Download the Video from Yandex

Yandex Video is a search engine, not a video host. When you watch a video in its player, the video is loaded from the site where the author posted it: VK, Rutube, YouTube or OK.ru. QSaver finds that address and downloads the file from there — in the quality in which the video was published at the original source. The result is the same as downloading it from the author's page.

What's Not Supported

• Search pages (yandex.ru/search/?text=…) — they don't contain a specific video. Open the video and copy its address.
• Kinopoisk and paid movies — protected by DRM, they can't be downloaded.
• Private files on Yandex Disk — without a public link, only the owner has access.
• Videos from sites QSaver doesn't support yet — if Yandex found the video on, say, Dzen, we'll tell you so directly.
• Deleted videos — if the author deleted the video at the original source, it can't be downloaded.

Security and Privacy

QSaver doesn't ask you to sign in to your Yandex account, doesn't collect personal data and doesn't install any software on your device. Downloads go over secure HTTPS, and files aren't kept on our servers after delivery.
